In early 2020, Nadia Arratibel, Ondarreta's head designer, travelled from the Basque Country to Lewis and Harris Island in Scotland, in what would turn out to be her last trip before the pandemic. Following the rhythmic sound of weavers scattered throughout the island, Nadia takes the last boat to Harris in an attempt to discover the simple truth of the origin and worth of Harris Tweed®, one of the most appreciated fabrics in the world. As the ship sets sail, she enjoys the power of nature, solitude and rain, and reflects upon meaning and balance in the relationship between nature, industry and human beings.
