Harris Tweed

Harris Tweed material can be proud to be the only fabric with a designation of origin governed by the British Parliament. This law is applied under the supervision of Harris Tweed Authority, a body which holds the exclusive authority to identify a cloth as authentic Harris Tweed and ensure it was made from pure virgin wool dyed, spun and handwoven by the islanders in the Outer Hebrides at their homes. A legendary material that comes in a palette of intense and varied colours that has dressed English lords for centuries and now dresses Lana chairs and sofas and Aia poufs.

Nadia Arratibel

THE DESIGNER

Trained at the prestigious Architectural Association in London and the Higher School of Architecture at the University of Navarra, Nadia Arratibel is responsible for Product Management at Ondarreta. Under her leadership, the brand was awarded the National Design Award in 2023. Her vision and creativity have been instrumental in the creation of some of the most iconic pieces in the company’s catalogue, significantly contributing to its prominence in both national and international markets.
