Their upholsteries, with fine tailor detail and a geometric surface, are available in a wide variety of colours. This product is now available in 11 iconic Harris Tweed fabrics, a hand-made material crafted from virgin wool and natural inks, produced exclusively on the Harris Island (Scotland).

Harris Tweed

Harris Tweed is the only fabric in the world with a designation of origin governed by the British Parliament. This law is applied under the supervision of Harris Tweed Authority®, a body which holds the exclusive authority to identify a cloth as authentic Harris Tweed® and ensure it was made from pure virgin wool dyed, spun and handwoven by the islanders in the Outer Hebrides at their homes.

At Ondarreta, we collaborated with Harris Tweed Authority® to develop our new collection cápsula Harris, which has been applied to our Aia and Lana families.

Nadia Arratibel

THE DESIGNER

Nadia Arratibel, together with her sister Nora, leads Ondarreta. Trained at the prestigious Architectural Association in London and the Higher Technical School of Architecture at the University of Navarra, Nadia is responsible for the brand’s Product Management. Her vision and creativity have been key in the creation of some of the most iconic pieces in the company’s catalog, significantly contributing to its growth in both the national and international markets.
