Harris Tweed is the only fabric in the world with a designation of origin governed by the British Parliament. This law is applied under the supervision of Harris Tweed Authority®, a body which holds the exclusive authority to identify a cloth as authentic Harris Tweed® and ensure it was made from pure virgin wool dyed, spun and handwoven by the islanders in the Outer Hebrides at their homes. At Ondarreta, we collaborated with Harris Tweed Authority® to develop our new collection cápsula Harris, which has been applied to our Aia and Lana families.

Lana wood ottoman, draws on the tradition of curved solid wood, creating soft and smooth edges. Available in a wide range of upholsteries, that perfectly combine with the Lana easychairs and sofas. This product is now available in 11 iconic Harris Tweed fabrics, a hand-made material crafted from virgin wool and natural inks, produced exclusively on the Harris Island (Scotland).

THE DESIGNER
Yonoh is a multidisciplinary creative studio set up by Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma in 2006. The studio is characterized by its simple, yet functional designs. Simplicity, innovation and originality, without extravagance, is the backbone to their design philosophy studying each small detail minutely in each of their projects. Their versatility, timelessness and adaptability are the cornerstones of the work done in their studio.
